Welcome to the Maple Grove Community Sports Field – The Heart of Small-Town Weekend Fun!

Tucked just behind the elementary school on the edge of town, our multi-purpose sports field is the go-to spot for everything from T-ball to youth soccer, flag football, and even the occasional pickup kickball game. Built in the late 1980s with plenty of volunteer elbow grease and a few town grants, it’s simple, well-loved, and always buzzing on Saturdays.

From the parking lot (mostly gravel with a few paved spots for the coaches), you get this classic view of the field on a sunny spring afternoon.

• Multi-use layout – One large rectangular field (about 80×120 yards) marked for soccer and flag football, with overlapping T-ball/baseball diamonds at each end
• Soccer goals – Portable white metal goals that get rolled out for games and stored along the fence the rest of the week
• Bleachers – Two small sets of weathered aluminum stands (one on each sideline) that seat about 80–100 parents, grandparents, and siblings
• Playground bonus – Right next to the field is a small playground with swings, a slide, and a climbing structure – perfect for siblings waiting for their turn
